Hospice and End-of-Life Information Session

posted Oct 27, 2017, 5:49 AM by Carolyn McCarthy   [ updated Oct 27, 2017, 5:49 AM ]
The Church of the Nativity will host an information session for parishioners and guests covering the teaching of the Catholic Church in regard to end-of-life decisions, and the spirituality of hospice care.  Joining Father Jim for this presentation will be Monsignor Sam Sirianni, rector and pastor of St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral.  The session will be held on Saturday, November 11th, from 10-11:30am in the chapel.  All are invited to join us for this conversation and sharing of important information.  It is likely that every Catholic family will have some experience with hospice care in the next few years, either for an immediate family member or for neighbors and friends.  Hospice care can be a tender and sacred time, supporting the needs of the dying person, their family and friends with tenderness and compassion.  Join us to find out more!  Please RSVP to CarolynM@NativityChurchNJ.org before November 8th.
