Exit Interview Survey

posted Mar 24, 2012, 7:36 PM by The Church of the Nativity   [ updated Mar 24, 2012, 7:37 PM ]
Do you know of anyone who has left the Church or simply stopped attending Mass?

Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., and his advisers in the Diocese of Trenton would like to learn more about why some individuals have separated themselves from regular attendance at Sunday Mass and participation in parish activities.  To gain these answers, the Diocese has engaged the Center for the Study of Church Management  at Villanova University to conduct an “Exit Interview” survey.

The interview project seeks to open a line of communication to determine the reasons for some individuals’ withdrawal or separation from parish life, and their suggestions for the improvement of parish service.  The feedback will be analyzed carefully in a general report that will be compiled by Villanova and sent to the Diocese.  Information gathered will be reported to the parishes, in order to enable all parishes to serve their people more effectively.

The survey is brief and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.  Identities of the respondents will be kept strictly confidential.

If you know of someone who would be willing to participate in this project, invite them to contact the Center for the Study of Church Management, Villanova University, 800 Lancaster Ave., Villanova, PA 19085 (610-519-4371) or at cscm@villanova.edu in order to receive a copy of the questionnaire.  The survey can also be completed online by going to:www.surveymonkey.com/s/TrentonSurvey
