Basic Needs Advent Project

in support of

Big Brothers Big Sisters

This Advent Season please make a donation to the Basic Needs Advent Project in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.    BBBS’ mission is to create mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.  These relationships make a difference by building self-confidence and empowering local kids to reach their full potential.

Who made an impact in your life?  To honor that person, we ask you to sponsor a meaningful relationship that will make a difference for a child.  Different levels of support: $10, $20, $50 or $100.

After all Masses, visit the table at the side and front doors to make a donation.  Write your mentor’s name on an ornament and place it on the Altar Tree.  Throughout Advent, we will pray for these individuals because of the difference they made in your life. Please take an acknowledgement card to share with that special person this Christmas!

As in past years, we will also be collecting Christmas gifts for needy seniors living in nursing facilities.  There are two ways to help seniors: Either take a tag from the basket at the Altar, purchase requested item, wrap and attach the tag OR buy any gift for a senior citizen - wrap and label the gift with contents.  All gifts should be left under the Altar Tree by Sunday, Dec. 22nd.   Thank you in advance for your continued generosity!
