This Advent Season, the Basic Needs Project will benefit Covenant House in Asbury Park, which helps at risk, young adults between the ages of 18-21, on the streets of Monmouth County. The outreach program hands out “Survival Bags” with food, clothing, blankets, gloves and other items to help these young adults stay warm during the winter months. Your cash donation will be used to purchase items for these bags and directly support the Asbury Park outreach program. For each $10 donation, we will place an ornament symbolizing that gift on the Parish Advent Tree.

In addition, the Committee will also be collecting gifts for the elderly in local nursing homes. These senior appropriate gifts should be wrapped and labeled (male or female) and left under the tree any Sunday through Dec. 21st. All parishioners are welcome to participate in this unique opportunity to provide a gift to someone who might otherwise be forgotten this Christmas Season.

Thank you in advance for your continued support.
